The Monsters

Two best mates, Sam and Kieran.  

they meet a bewitching traveller girl, Lori.

and Moony, waitress and dreamer.

Then these wild young lives are torn apart by a terrible tragedy.

 

SEAMONSTERS is a sparky, funny, moving story of sex and violence, live bait and dead dogs.

Adapted from the Royal Court play "Outside Of Heaven" by Martin Sadofski.

Directed by London Film School graduate Julian Kerridge, his first feature film after several award-winning shorts.

Shot in 2010 in London and Worthing by acclaimed cinematographer Nick Gordon-Smith (Gallivant, Ivul).

Great screening at the Lovely Lexi cinema in london. Full to the brim and a wonderful Q&A with Rita Tushingham afterwards.  

Seamonsters has been playing festivals and selected special screenings here and in America. The American response  has been  especially strong as the film sits nicely in the America Indie tradition of storytelling. Sell out screenings at The Austin Film Festival where it was enthusiastically received by a young audience who related to the teen angst. The actor James Franco came to check it out and hung around for the late night Q&A.  The film won its laurels!

In London we again sold out our screening at the Raindance film festival Where it was nominated for best UK feature. 

Coming up we have a special screening at the LEXI cinema in London  Nov 17th  where we are having special Q&A with screen legend  Rita Tushingham.

We are also very pleased to have screend  our film at Cine-CIty -Brighton's great film festival in December. Anothetr sell out showing and a lively debate after with Julian and Martin.
